National Ice Cream Sandwich Day is 8/2 and National Watermelon Day 8/3. For a belated celebration of these luscious summer holidays, we’ll feature a night of SUMMER SONG CLASSICS including this summer’s hits and music from the past conjuring sun, surf and moonlit strolls holding that special someone’s hand (we’re PG at the SoundBar – you can take it from there).

We’re patriotically working our way through the colors red, white and blue in our Playlist Schedule (last Friday was “Blue Notes”), and tonight we move to RED. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Simply Red, Red House Painters, Otis Redding, Helen Reddy, Redtenbacher’s Funkestra, Red Mitchell, Red Garland, Leon Redbone, Redman, Red Lesbians and rounding it out King Crimson.
