AND A SPECIAL EVENT TONIGHT:  Novelist ERIC GOODMAN (a Yale bud of Jay’s) joins us at 7 pm to talk about his new book “MOTHER OF BOURBON: THE GREATEST WHISKEY STORY NEVER TOLD” (Simon & Schuster 2025, co written with Kaveh Zamanian).  Eric will be interviewed by SoundBar friend Sean Michael Sinnott, a Louisville native steeped in Bourbon history and culture.  The book’s a remarkable chronicle of the life of Mary Dowling, child of Irish immigrants, who takes over her late husband’s Louisville distillery business in the late 19^th Century. Eric’s as colorful as the stories he’s told in his many published and award-winning novels.
